Haikou Hainan University of Science and Technology
Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology was established on the basis of the former Central Academy of Fine Arts Haikou campus when Hainan Province was established in 2008 and transformed into an international tourist island 20 years ago. It was successfully renamed as Hainan Science and Technology when Hainan fully constructed a free trade zone (port) Vocational University, with two campuses of Meilan and Yunlong in Haikou City. There are 10934 full-time students in the school in 2019, more than 16000 full-time students in September 2020, and 20,000 full-time students in September 2021. The school has obtained more than 300 patents and more than 100 honors.
